Games deserve criticism that respects your time.

From our studio in Shoreditch, we publish patient, evidence-led reviews and retrospectives for PC and console players who are tired of hype cycles and score-chasing. Every verdict is built on completed playthroughs, not press-preview impressions.

Editorial method

How a verdict is earned here.

Our process is deliberately slow. We would rather publish a considered piece four weeks after launch than a rushed one on embargo day. The four stages below govern every review, retrospective, and long-form essay that carries the GamingQuestLegends byline.

  1. 01

    Full playthrough

No review begins until the game is finished on the platform readers actually own, with playtime logged and difficulty noted so verdicts stay honest and comparable.

  2. 02

    Technical audit

We capture frame-time data, load behaviour, and patch history on reference hardware, so performance claims are measured rather than remembered from a single session.

  3. 03

    Second read

A second editor challenges the draft against our style guide, flags unexamined bias, and confirms every factual claim before a score is ever attached to the piece.

  4. 04

    Post-patch update

Live-service and heavily patched titles are revisited at three and twelve months, with revised notes appended openly rather than quietly rewritten into the original.

A small desk with strong opinions.

We are four full-time critics working out of one room off Hoxton Square. Every byline below is a person you can email directly, and every reviewer discloses the games they have worked on commercially before they are assigned a piece.

    ★★★★★
"I bought a mid-range GPU purely on the strength of their benchmark breakdown, and it was exactly right. No other site walks you through the numbers so patiently."
    Daniel K. — Manchester · March 2025
    ★★★★★
"Their post-patch update policy saved me from a refund window mistake. They revisited the game months later and were honest that it had genuinely improved."
    Sofia R. — Bristol · January 2025
    ★★★★★
"As a member I get the reviewers on a call once a month. Being able to ask an editor directly why a score landed where it did is worth every penny of the subscription."
    Aisha B. — Edinburgh · November 2024
